TGE Distribution serves the warranties on all brands it distributes for its region.


BEFORE YOU FILE A CLAIM!

Before you file the claim make sure that you have all of the following required information so that we can properly verify that  your item is covered. NOTE: If an item has been previously warrantied by TGE, the warranty replacement cannot be submitted for a warranty claim. DO NOT SEND 2 WHEELS IF ONLY 1 WHEEL IS DAMAGED.

1. The item you want to warranty. 

2. A dated proof of purchase.

3. Clear photos of the warranty issue.

4. Where you bought the item from.

If you have all of the above it will speed up the warranty process. If you are missing one of these please do not file a claim as they are required as part of the warranty.

Please use the link on the bottom of this page.  Please complete the form in full to expedite your claim. 

After a warranty claim has been filed, in the event your claim is approved, we will replace your item with the same item if possible, otherwise, a similar item is provided.

NOTES:

Usually it takes a 5-6 business days for us to get back to you once you complete a warranty claim. After those few days, you will receive an email about your claim.

IF and AFTER you are approved to return warranty items, please note:

-We will not return bearings on wheels, so please remove them. Also, only send the particular damaged item to us, as other items, parts, pieces, may not be returned you (even if you purchased as part of a pair).

-Please ensure that you include a note inside your shipment that identifies your warranty claim number, your name, address, and other details. You should be able to print this from in an email we will send you.

-Please DO NOT send your part in without first getting an email requesting that you do.

We do not accept any items back for warranty purposes that have been tampered with, or altered in any way. For example no drilling, cutting, dying etc.


PROTO Scooters - Wheels

NOTICE: Wheels are considered a “wear” part whose lifespan is determined by the condition of the ground being ridden as well as the level, style and frequency of riding which varies greatly from person to person. Wheels are warranted by the individual wheel NOT by the pair, even if purchased as a pair. Wheels cannot be modified in any way to qualify for warranty which includes painting or stripping the color from the core, drilling or cutting the core, dying the urethane or visibly-intentionally tearing the urethane from the core.

NOT-COVERED: Chips, cracks and small abrasions on or around the riding surface of the urethane are considered normal wear and tear and ARE NOT COVERED under warranty. Flat-Spots are considered user-error from excessive braking and are not covered under warranty.

COVERED: All wheels carry a 90-day urethane warranty against chunking and de-hubbing.  If a piece of urethane tears away directly from the core. AKA – “chunking” we offer a 1-time replacement of that part. Urethane must be physically separated from the metal core to qualify. See below for Dehub definition.

What is a "Dehub"?: A true "Dehub" is when the urethane comes off the core in 1 piece and leaves NO traces of urethane on the core. This means the only thing on the core is bare aluminum with NO urethane stuck on the core.

All PROTO Scooters handlebars carry a lifetime warranty on welds!

PROTO Scooters – Forks

All PROTO Scooters forks carry a lifetime warranty on welds!

PROTO Scooters – Clamps & SCS

All PROTO Scooters Clamps & SCS carry a lifetime warranty on cracking! Stripping of the threads on the clamp is not covered under warranty. It is considered user error and will not be replaced.

PROTO Scooters – Necks

All PROTO Scooters necks carry a 1-year warranty on BREAKAGE. *Breakage is defined as snapping a part in two or more pieces rendering it unrideable.

PROTO Scooters – Decks

All PROTO Scooters decks carry a 90-day warranty on BREAKAGE.  WARRANTY IS VOID IF FLUSH MOUNT DECK ENDS OR FLUSH MOUNT PEGS ARE NOT BEING USED. If all supplied hardware is not properly installed and tightened, the integrity of the deck can become compromised and it is possible to void your warranty! Brake mounts are NOT covered under this warranty! Decks will only be replaced 1 time per order. *Breakage is defined as snapping a part in two or more pieces rendering it unrideable.

PROTO Scooters – Apparel, Accessories, & Other Items

Apparel, accessories, or items not listed above for PROTO Scooters are not covered by a warranty.  If you have a specific issue or problem with a PROTO Scooters item that is not listed above, please contact the manufacturer at www.protoscooters.com.

River Wheels Co. - Wheels

Hella Grip

No warranty is presently provided for Hella Grip items.  If you have a specific issue or problem any Hella Grip, please contact the manufacturer at www.hellagrip.co.
